PTLab Software

PTLab Software was designed by Primera specifically for use with Signature series printers. It can be installed on any Windows PC (10 or higher), including the optional All-in-One touch screen PC provided by DTM Medical. With PTLab, you‘ll be up and running and printing full-colour slides in just minutes.

Users can create customised templates that define the information that is required on the slides including fixed and variable fields. The print area is completely customisable. Or, you can choose from any of the included standard templates.

Then, the barcode or matrix code printed on the specimen container, tissue cassette or any other tissue container is scanned in the laboratory. The information contained in the barcode or matrix code is transferred to the slide. Additional information can also be entered via the keyboard or touch screen PC. The number of slides that have been ordered for that study are then automatically printed.

By printing only the amount of cassettes and slides you need, when and where you need them, helps avoid potentially serious patient safety errors.

The white Medical Clinical Keyboard is a compact silicone keyboard with a built-in touchpad. It is fully waterproof to IP68 standards, can be submerged in liquid and cleaned with soapy water, disinfectants or other cleaning agents. The keyboard is available in French, German and UK layout.

DTM Stand-alone / Network-connected Complete System

The complete system available from DTM Medical consists of a white all-in-one touch screen PC (15,4") with 8 GB RAM, 120 GB SSD, Windows 11 Pro, medical grade IP68 keyboard with touchpad, 2D Datalogic medical grade scanner and stand. PTLab Software,PTTemplate and all necessary drivers are available for installation directly on the PC.

PTNet Print Server for Signature Slide Printer (Classic version)

The PTNet Print Server is an interface to connect the Signature Slide Printer (Classic version) to the network. This stand-alone box is connected to a power supply, the USB port of the printer and the local network. During installation of the device driver you can choose between the classical USB connection or a network connection. The unique ID of the PTNet Print Server is used for differentiation. With a slide printer in the network, several PTLab clients or several laboratory information systems connected by the driver can use the printer. The functionality of the printer is not limited, but extended by the broad control. The PTNet Print Server is automatically configured and thus requires no further user intervention.
